Sareeh al-Sunnah – The Clearly Established Sunnah

Imam Ibn Jarir al-Tabari (d. 310H)

Imam Ibn Jarir, may Allah have mercy on him, authored this book to clarify the correct creed in accordance with the beliefs of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama‘ah. In it, he addressed five main topics:

• The statement regarding the Qur’an, that it is the Speech of Allah, the Most High,

• The statement regarding the vision of Allah with the eyes on the Day of Judgment,

• The statement regarding the actions of the servants,

• The statement regarding the Companions of the Messenger,

• And the statement regarding the increase and decrease of faith.
